by the Doberman Family
96 Gillespie is pleased to present '7 Tiers', a site specific installation by London's collaborative art group, The Doberman Family.
The Doberman Family are Clarissa, Jennifer, Rocco & Dirk - aka Tina Borkowski, Emma Tornero, Chin Keeler & Jack Doyle.
With significant careers as designers, animators, illustrators, musicians & artists; the Doberman Family offers new challenges to it's members in this collaborative art practise.
The last few years have been busy for the Doberman Family, with exhibitions & workshops everywhere from London's Institute of Contemporary Art & Camden Art's Centre to Mario's Cafe in Kentish town.
The group comfortably switch between media & material, responding to the local context of each project as well as demonstrating a remarkable talent base behind their united front. They actively promote collaborative art through public workshops, events, organizing exhibitions & participating in other collaborative art projects.
7 Tiers promises to deliver the full impact of a Doberman Family get together. An engaging installation of paintings, prints & drawings exploring a process within each of 7 consecutive stages, all created in response to the gallery at 96 Gillespie & via a collaborative workflow.
