was born in Hartford, CT. in 1965. She studied on a scholarship under the dark master of illustration Marshall Arismann, at the infamous School of Visual Arts in New York City. Since graduating from SVA she has had work published in Stance Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, and The Washington Post. She has also exhibited her intense portraitures in cities across the world and is part of an upcoming exhibit in London with her subject being images and icons from pivotal films of the Sixties. Ms. Virello quietly resides and paints on picturesque Flower Row in Chelsea, NYC
