Robie Gay, a quite awkward southern gent, was born and raised in the small rural community of Cusseta, Alabama, population 320.

Finding art as a basis for creating led him through formal training as an architect. He explores the ruggedness of the everyday with a juxtaposing modern slight of hand, creating unique constructs and compositions.

Realising he was truly related to Butch Anthony (another story), he decided to test the Atlantic divide, and explore the small quaint English village of London.

It also helps that he fancies some ‘fit bird’ he met in his native land.
