Lucy spent a year in Alabama participating in Aubern University's now famous 'Rural Studio' architectural outreach programme.
While there she designed & built (with Robie Gay) a porch for a mobile home. Called 'Ola Mae's Porch' and built on the bed of a trailer (wheels & all) this project has recently won top prize in the Architect's Journal 'small projects' awards.
